I know the 3.4L is 5w30, but I can't remember exactly when they switched the recommendation for the 3.8 from 10w30 to 5w30. Double check the oil cap and it will be on there if you have a 3.8L engine.
between the engine and the muffler underneath the car would be the logical place.
A 1974 Chevy Impala frame would work
You need to connect a OBD-II Scanner to find out.....
Chevy already put the 5.3 Liter V8 in the Impala in 2006. It makes 303 H.P. Putting a 5.7 could be done, but the expense would be great. I would just look for a factory V8.
that would depend on engine you have 3400 v-6 is 180 3800 v-6 is 200
Chevy impala... no its actually not a impala, I'm not sure what your thinking but I think nobody it there rightmind would put a 357 a motor with over 360 horses into a family car.. just sayin
Check with your local Chevy dealer on that.
Check eBay It is all about condition, body style, engine, transmission and factory accessories it may or may not have.
no
If someone installed a diesel fuel tank into a 1996 Chevy Impala SS, it could cause the spark plugs to catch on fire and further damage would occur. However, it's rare that anything serious could happen.
I would guess about six quarts...
Could be several things, however, it is probably an exhaust leak, or in the valve trane. I would start by checking the oil, however, as this is a warning sign, of it being low.
