If you pull the fuse for the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) on a 2002 Chevy pickup, the ABS system will be disabled, and the ABS warning light will illuminate on the dashboard. This means that the vehicle will revert to standard braking without anti-lock functionality, which can increase the risk of wheel lock-up during hard braking. Additionally, the brake system will still function normally without ABS, but you will lose the added safety benefits, especially in slippery conditions. Always consult the vehicle’s manual or a professional mechanic before making changes to the electrical system.
