I've been a gear-head (racer, collector, etc..)all my life and have never really known different fuels to cause a problem, other than pinging, on newer cars. Until now, that is. I had been running the lower octane fuel in the Aurora then decided to begin running premium. After the first two tanks there was a noticeable difference in performance, smoothness, etc. Also, the fuel mileage picked up almost 2mpg. This car is one that definitely needs premium fuel and I'll never put the lower octane stuff back in it.
Answerit will more than likely PING when accellerating under load.if you mix fuel grades it should be ok. i run reg. all the time.no problem.unleaded...besides that don't waste your money on premium gas, the car's not worth it.
Yes, you can. Premium is recommended, but not required. If you intend to keep the car for a long period of time, the engine will operate better with premium.
Depends on the model
Premium is required
Not at all... Premium fuel will not harm any vehicle. All premium fuel does is burn more efficiently and evenly reducing engine ping
Premium is ok
Premium is recommended for the ETC models
The 2010 Audi TT runs on premium unleaded (recommended).
can my employer pay my medicare premium instead of taking it out of social security
At least 91% octane or better. So premium
If a deductible is lowered the premium usually goes up
If you accidentally put regular unleaded gas instead of premium in a vehicle designed for premium fuel, the car may experience a decrease in performance, such as reduced power and efficiency. In some cases, you might notice engine knocking or pinging due to premature ignition of the fuel. However, if it's a one-time mistake, most modern engines can handle the lower octane without significant damage. It's best to refill with premium gas at your next opportunity.
