U could through out the throughout bearins or the transfer axle.. u never want to put two different sized tires on a all wheel drive..
yes but you have to buy a spacer for the front tires
Yes.
Depends. All tires have a size on them, so the questions of the year of vehicle is irrelevant. If the size of the 1997 Explorer is the same size of the 1982 Chevy Van, then they are both interchangeable. The problems if any will be in the rims. But if the rims are different then the tires would be different too.
Yes.
Front to back, no. Side to side, yes. If the tires are directional, no.
Look at the sticker that is located at the left front door latch. It will tell you what tires are Ok for your car. Mine has a P235/75 R15.
You are probably in need of ball joints and alignment. You really need to have the front end checked by a mechanic for safety sake.
tires could be out of balance or or broken ply rotors might be out of round if you feel it in the steering wheel its the front tires or in the seat its the rears
move back tires to front and front tires to back
The front tires have to be thinner because they have to do all the steering, while the rear tires have to all the acceleration, which demands more grip.
Front Rear End? Does that make sense? Front differential? maybe? Low fluid, wheel bearing, choppy worn tires?
A ball joint going bad.
