First of all, I suspect that your 1990 Chevy pickup has a Throttle Body Injection system (TBI) which requires an electric fuel pump mounted in the gas tank. When you turn your key to start the engine, stop at the second click and listen for the fuel pump to come on for a few seconds. It is supposed to build up pressure in the fuel line and then cut off. If you don't hear anything, there is something wrong with the fuel system. Either the pump is bad or a fuse is blown or there is a wiring problem somewhere in the fuel pump circuit. You will want to rule out any other problems before you attempt to replace the fuel pump since it is not an easy job.

How do you adjust the carburetor float on 1990 Isuzu pickup?

To adjust the carburetor float on a 1990 Isuzu pickup, first, remove the carburetor from the engine and detach the float bowl. Check the float height by inverting the carburetor and measuring the distance from the float to the gasket surface; it should typically be around 14-16 mm. If adjustment is needed, bend the float arm gently until the correct height is achieved. Reassemble the carburetor and reinstall it on the engine, ensuring all connections are secure.
