Hi, PVC is a name for they use to describe plastic pipe. You may be thinking of PCV, which stands for positive crankcase ventilation. Most all engines have these now, if you check on your engine's valve cover there will be a vacuum hose, rubber hose, plugged in to the cover going to a metal or plastic device this is it's PCV valve, the metal ones screw in and the plastic ones plug in. If you take it off shake it, it should rattle that is the valve not clogged up if it does not make a sound buy a new one I tell all to buy a new hose too, they clog up too. It helps the engine breath; it takes the fumes out of the eng. and sends it out the tailpipe. Happy motoring.
