It is known as a Ford G5M 5-speed manual transaxle. That is the only one, the SR series of Escort ZX2 used the same transaxle with a Centerline street/strip type clutch.
what is differentabout verapmil sr and sa
No they are completely different engines.
No they are totally different.
the headlights used on the 1998-2003 ZX2 are all interchangeable. The only differences in the headlights are those used in 1998 as they were slightly different in appearance. Other than that, there are no differences in fitment from 1998-2003
They are of different size and travel of the piston in the strut bore. The mounting hardware is different on the two.
the engines used in both of these cars are different. The zx2 engine is a dohc while the escort is a sohc. Physically the zx2 engine will fit into the escort SE. To get this install to work will require wiring, ZX2 computer, fuel system upgrades. Additionally, the escort se transmission will also bolt up to the zx2 engine but will require a little work as well. This swap has been done and information for such can be found on teamzx2.com and feoa.com
