Using a 5/16" 6 point box wrench or socket remove the negative battery cable first then the positive cable. Using a 13mm socket with a 10" extension remove the battery hold down bolt and remove clamp wedge. Remove the battery, clean up battery tray and cable ends with water and baking soda and wire brush. Install new battery, reinstall battery clamp and bolt. Attach positive battery cable first then negative cable. You will need to reset clock and radio settings.
Follow the positive battery cable from the battery, it will lead you right to the starter.
Yes it will
The servo is under the battery. The engine computer controlls it.
The Pickup was created in 2001-09.
Usually you are not supposed to reprogram anything. Just connect the battery and drive the car, it will take about 100-250 miles for ECU to relearn sensors.
No
Where is the factory amp on a 2001 dodge pickup
if you look on the side of the battery at the bottom there is a plastic wedge that holds the battery from moving which is normally held in with a 5/16 or 8mm bolt
Behind the glove compartment to the right. I'd disconnect the battery before changing it just to be safe.
Doesn't have EGR in 2001.

When you open the hood on the pickup there are 2 black tabs that are on either side. for example the passenger side ones are right in front of the battery, you cant miss them. pull them out and the head light assy. comes right out. change your desired bulb and youre all done. hope youre changing them in awarmer place then i was'
