This code is caused by one or more of the transmission shift solenoids sticking or going bad. You must replace the solenoid shift pack as an assembly; it comes in a repair kit for the transmission. Dealer price quoted for the entire job (solenoid package, wiring harness, gaskets, seals, fluid) $1500-$2000. They say it takes 11 hours to rebuild the tranny including taking it off and putting it back on. I'm going to check with some independents on cost.
