Trouble code P0117 means: Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit Low Input Replace the coolant temp sensor
probably just replace the coolant sensor
P0117 will set if the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) reads over 248F when the engine has been running for 10 seconds. replace your coolant temp sensor. the sensor is located in the drivers side of the cylinder head, just below the valve cover line, under the coolant hose.
Code P0117 indicates a problem with the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor circuit, typically due to a low voltage reading. To fix this issue on a Dodge Neon, first, check the ECT sensor and its wiring for any damage or corrosion. If the connections are secure and the wiring is intact, replace the ECT sensor. Finally, clear the code and test drive the vehicle to ensure the issue is resolved.
I assume you has an s series Saturn If so you are in luck because that code is caused by the coolant sensor cracking 90% of the time Replace the sensor and the harness (if corroded) and you'll be good to go
This is trouble code for your coolant sensor. It has most likely failed to get this error to come up. Replacing it should solve this problem. You will have to locate this and replace it. I would tell, but I dont know the location for this vehicle. Alot of times they are located near the thermostat housing. Hope this helps.
