Yes it needs spark plugs and wires. I own a 1992 Buick Roadmaster and had to replace plugs and wires recently. Not that expensive, I bought AC Delco plugs and wires. I had a discount as well. Be sure you know what your doing, which one is which I change them one at a time so not to mix up wires and the last on on the left side is a pain, the last two. Change them every 50,000 miles. Or less.
Check firing order
To change the spark plug wires on a 97 Buick LeSabre, first pull the wires loose from the plugs. After these are removed, pull the wires loose from the opposite end and replace them.
For a 1992 Buick Roadmaster, you should start on the driver's side for a firing order check or ignition work. The firing order for the 5.7L V8 engine is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, with cylinder number 1 located at the front of the engine on the driver's side. Make sure to follow the proper sequence when replacing spark plugs or wires to ensure optimal engine performance.
One at a time
Check spark plugs and wires
how to replace spark plugs wires 1992 buick century v 6 3300 stationwagon
Just follow the spark plug wires....
I'm not sure what the firing order for that vehicle is but try Autozone.com they are posting tech data on their web site now. If you plan on doing plugs and wires just do one at a time, then you should'nt need the firing order.
it is very time consuming to do this. it is imperative that you follow the original routing of the wires from the optispark disstributor to the designated plug. it will be easier to reach the plugs and wires in certain areas if you raise the front end and remove the front wheels. best idea is to only do this one wire at a time good luck
Try changing the spark plug wires.
check spark plug gap and firing order-also check to make sure plugs are tight and wires connected
