It could be any of 100,000 combinations.
The keypad code for your vehicle is specific to your vehicle and your vehicle only. A Ford dealer can reprogram the code if you do not know it.
there's a sticker on the trunk lid with the code on it
Each vehicle with keyless entry has it's own factory code
On a 2004 Ford Excursion, the keyless entry keypad code is typically found on a sticker located inside the driver's side door frame. You may also find it in the owner’s manual. If the code is not visible, it can sometimes be retrieved using a diagnostic tool at a Ford dealership.
if you still have the manual it's in there towards the middle.
You will need to take it to a Ford dealership. They will hook up a computer to it and that will give the code.
behind the scuff panel on the left hand side at the drivers feet, there should be a sticker on the junction box with a 5 digit code which should be the keypad entry code.
Hi, You can't replace the factory keypad code. You can add other codes and erase that ones that had been added. You have to replace the module if you don't want the original code to work.
Then you have the wrong code...that can happen if you buy a pre-owned Trac and the previous owner personalizes the code. You can reset your factory set code, directions are in your owner's manual.
Is there an owners manual? It should tell you in there. If not, you might have to take it back to the dealer (any Ford retailer) and have it re-set. Answer The dealer can pull out the factory code which will always be there and work then you can set your on code that you can rember.
You will have to get ahold of a ford deal and give them your vin # i believe. I had the same problem when i bought my 2004 ls ;).
You can't miss it, it is located on the exterior of the driver's-side door just below the window.
