wher do i find the code for door for a 2001
A door panel on a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer is held on by several screws. Once all the screws are removed the panel can easily come off.
have a 1993 mercury villager. Don't have door key code can't find default code in glove box. Does anyone know what the default code is
Each vehicle equipped with keyless entry has its own individual factory door code.... However that five digit code is printed on the computer which is located in the same compartment as the jack in the rear of the vehicle. there will be a white rectangular computer module in there with the code printed on it which is not easy to see. you may have stick a flash light in there to see it but its there.
the door code is on top of the computer module, it is five numbers together sometimes you have to enter the numbers in reverse order, try entering the numbers if they dont work try them reversed
go to the dealer with your VIN and proof of ownwership they give it to you...
Each vehicle is different. The default / factory code is located on the right side trunk hinge . drl
Starting with the 2002 model , there is no automatic transmission fluid dipstick on the Mercury Mountaineer ( and the Ford Explorer , 4 door )
Open your drivers door and look for an information sticker , the trans code should be shown
the rear passenger door (back right), open the door.. where the seatbelt is stored at, lift that panel & the keyless code is a 5 digit code on a white sticker on the metal frame under that panel.
The 2004 Mercury Mountaineer does not have an automatic transmission fluid dipstick . I know that the 2002 and newer Ford Explorer four door versions do not have a dipstick for the automatic transmission fluid level .
