firing order i got from a ford dealership is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8..hope this helps
1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
The Ford 302 H.O. firing order is the same as a Ford 351 engine. It is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. It is totally different from a standard Ford 302.
if it is a 351 windsor the firing order is : 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
1-4-2-5-3-6 This is not correct....the firing order given here is for a 6-cylinder motor..... firing order for the 1997 Ford Explorer & Mercury Mountaineer (the only vehicles in 1997 with the 302 - 5.0) is same as the 351 motor; 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
That's the reverse firing order for the Ford 302 and 351 engine... on boats with twin engines and counter rotating shafts is where you would find one.
