Regular Unleaded 87 Octane is sufficient. Buying any higher octane is a waste of money and will provide no benefit.
92 or 93 octane would be the best for that engine.
The V8 requires Unleaded premium (91 octane). Do not use any octane fuel below this or you may end up with engine damage from pre-detonation.
89 octane Factory specs.
87 octane

If the engine is running properly, there would be no measurable difference. Those engines had fairly low compression, and would run just fine on 87 octane. More octane would just make it harder to start in the winter.
87 octane should run just fine.
