You CAN put lots of sizes on it but as the OEM size is 185/70-14 you must stay with what works well. A 215/60-14 is a great fit for this car and is the biggest size I would install. Speedometer will still be accurate and it will actually improve handling and braking. Car will look great with this size if you are staying with the OEM wheels.
Check with any tire store, they should know.
Recommended should be in your manual or a tire store can look it up. If your spare is original & not a space saver, check the blackwall.
The Gran Sport takes P205/55R16 sized tires at the largest. You'll need new rims if you have a Custom or a Limited Skylark.
That depends if it's a Gran Sport model or not. The Gran Sport had 16" tires. Check with any tire store to find out for certain.
If it's a Gran Sport with 16" wheels, it's P205-55R16. If not, they're smaller. Any tire store should be able to tell you.
