check your brake fluid. you probably ran it low and now there is air in the system. there may even be a leak. you will need to top off the reservoir and then bleed the brakes. look for brake fluid leaking around the inside of the wheels to try to locate the leak.

Why are my brakes spongy after bleeding?

Brakes may feel spongy after bleeding due to air bubbles trapped in the brake lines. Air in the brake system can cause a loss of pressure, resulting in a spongy feeling when you press the brake pedal. It is important to properly bleed the brakes to remove any air and ensure proper brake function.

Why can't you use gas in a brake pipe?

Gas is compressible, which means it can compress under pressure and cause the brake pedal to feel spongy and reduce the braking efficiency. Liquids like brake fluid are used in brake systems because they are incompressible, ensuring a consistent and reliable transfer of force from the brake pedal to the brakes.

How do you tighten the parking brake on a 2002 Nissan frontier?

10 milimeter socket adjustment screw located at emergency brake pedal , look for adjustment nut to the left of emergency brake pedal .................................................................................................................................. before you adjust there, you may want to make sure your brake shoes are adjusted up (assuming they are drum) properly, which would likely take care of the problem, because if there is excessive space between the shoes and surface of drum, you will be asking the cable to compensate for this problem, which would cause it to travel more than it should. Also, excessive space between shoes and drums will also cause your hydraulic system brake pedal to go down farther than it should, which will not be cured by adjusting at the pedal or handle

When brakes are applied too hard or too quickly when you are moving forward what can be the result?

Applying brakes too hard or too quickly can cause the wheels to lock up and the vehicle to skid. This can lead to loss of control and potential accidents. It can also cause excessive wear on the brake pads and decrease brake efficiency.
