from 1993-2002 the ss is faster. they have the same engine as the z28, but minor upgrades, such as the ram air hood, and cold air intake, etc...
about 320 Anywhere from between 300-320hp depending on whether or not if it was a Z28 or a SS Camaro.
you can get the ss supercharged from the factory the z is a t top
LT1 is the type of engine. the 96 camaro ss has an LT1, and so does the 96 z28. the difference between the z28 and the ss is, the ss has the ram air hood, and other slp options such as cold air intake, hurst shifter, etc..but to answer, the ss is faster than the z28, simply because of the small stuff. same engine though. Not that much faster though. A catback and good CAI on a Z28 and you'll be slightly faster than the SS (IF your Z has 3.23 gears). The SS intake SUCKS actually but the hood looks awesome
There was no SS camaro in 1992.
That's easy because there was no Camaro SS in 1994
super sport no doubt about it.
The new camaro for 2010 will be priced between $22,000 and $35,000, the top of the line will be the SS and they haven't said yet if there will be a Z28 for the first year of production.
they are the exact same
Factory rated 310 in a z28, 345 in an SS.
In 1994 there was no SS Camaro. The Z28 had a 5.7 liter V8. The base Camaro had a V6.
About 150 mPh depending if its ss or z28
If you mean the LS1 equipped Z28 and a LS1 equipped SS...: The LS1 SS cars(98-02) had a different hood, spoiler and a few upgrades from SLP like shocks/struts, exhaust a few other little things. The biggest difference is the hood and spoiler
