The only difference between the "XL" and "XLT" were content of options. I'm not exactly sure what was included but maybe like radio or CD player or maybe power options like windows or seats. The option package would up the price by maybe $500- $1000.

Will the hood off a 1995 Ford Ranger fit on a 2000 Ford Ranger?

The hood from a 1995 Ford Ranger is generally not compatible with a 2000 Ford Ranger due to design changes that occurred during the mid-1990s. While both models belong to the same Ranger lineage, the dimensions and mounting points of the hoods differ between these model years. It's best to use a hood specifically designed for the year of your vehicle for a proper fit.
