RS stands for Rally Sport. IROC, is short for International Race of Champions. A race that was held for the champions of all the different race circuits. I think there were 4 different type of course races in the series. Anyway, all the racers have equally built cars, of the same make. All built by a common shop. They started the series with Porches, then went to camaros, then Mustangs, and I am not too sure what they are doing now. So, the IROC was a special package including ground effects, a decal package, and a 350 motor. The RS had a v-6, I think. The biggest non IROC motor was the 305, high output. There may have been other subtle differences like steering ratio. I cannot say for sure on that.
Will a stock 305 motor from a 1986 iroc fit into a 1995 camaro rs?
The base RS or the IROC-Z.
305 TBI IROC HAS 350 TPIno such thing as a 91 iroc camaro. rs had 305, z28 had 350 im not sure if the z was available with the 305.
82-92 all models, camaro, berlinetta, rs, z28 and iroc-z. only difference is hood styling, rear spoiler options, engine size, t-top/hardtop/sun or moonroof and ground effects.
Stock 1993-1997 Camaro (non z28 or Rs) came with a 3.4 sfi motor. All the rs camaros came with the 3.8 sfi motor. So no there is no difference
89 was the first year the RS designation came to thethird gen camaro. It came with a V6 or an optional 305 upgrade.
Around 1-3 MPG less in both city/hwy
sure it will fit, you might have to change the motor mounts if your car is a V6.
Its not a good idea cause this will have more pressure., the tbi its a low pressure compare to the iroc -z tpi

the heritage edition has stripes down the middle of the car a few other badges and emblems, besides that not much
Yes it will.I put a hood from an 86 put on my 91 RS and it fit perfect. I later dumped it for a new 89 Z28 hood cause the 86 hood was not cherry.
