tps and OS sensor dicussion.first of all, in either case you would have and engine light come on detecting sensor failure by your computer. In the case of and o2 sensor, you will notice gas mileage decreasing and in certain cases hesitation during acceleration. If you have a miss on initial start cold it will not be related to your o2 sensor, since there is no reading until a specified heat range in your engine. Using a good scanner should determine what bank, either bank one or two sensors are creating the problem. As far as tps is concerned, you will probably have a serging in your rpms. It will drop and increase for no reason. All it is is a potentiometer in sort that controls the position of your butterfly at the throttle body. Hope i was able to help.. Nelson
