In a 2000 Ford Escort ( for North America )
It has a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine
* either the Dual Over Head Cam or the Single Over Head Cam version
As far as I know the 2000 Ford Escort sedan has a SOHC engine rated at ( 114 horsepower ) and the Ford Escort ZX2 has a DOHC - Zetec engine rated at ( 130 horsepower ) * both engines are 2.0 liters in size *
According to the 2000 Ford Escort Owner Guide : For the 2.0 liter , DOHC , Zetec engine : ( Motorcraft BXT-58 ) * that's BCI group size 58
What is the engine size? ............auto or manual?
That's a 2.0 liter SOHC engine in a 1999 Ford Escort
5/8"
Call the service department of a Ford dealership with the VIN number and they can tell you.
From Ford Escort 1991 Operating guide Fuel Tank U.S. Capacity 1.9L engine 11.9 gals. 1.8L engine 13.2 gals.
Yes it will as long as it is the same motor size. If it is the escort LX it is a 1.9 litre engine. If it is the escort GT it is a 1.8 litre.
I have a 1992 ford escort lx hatchback with the 1.9 in it, and they are non interference engines, meaning if the timing belt goes it will not hurt the engine, it just won't run, hope it helps! I have a 1992 Ford Escort LX I need to know the engine size please. If it 1.8 or 1.9
Either 185/65/14 or 185/60/15
According to the 1998 Ford Escort Owner Guide : The 2.0 liter , DOHC , Zetec engine came with the ( Motorcraft BXT-58 battery ) * that's BCI group size 58
2.0 liter ( I believe that is the DOHC - Zetec engine ) on YouTube
