what is the firing order on the distrubter cap on a 200ci inline six? 1 5 3 6 2 4
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
they never built a 64 charger as the 66 was the first year, they built a prototype car in 64 that was called a charger but it had a turbine engine.
Back in 66 and 67 the sister car was the coronet but in 68 the charger took on it's own identity.

The book I have show 63 - 66 Cadillac having the same firing order it is 1 8 7 2 6 5 4 3 With a clockwise turning rotor. The # 1 wire on the cap is the first post past the rear hold down screw in a clockwise direction.
1966 was the first year of production chargers, I had one back then.
Check out "dodge charger registry" website or the "66-67 charger website" for history on the ORIGINAL Chargers. & remember; "real Chargers don't have 4 doors!"
the fold down panel unlocks from the inside of the trunk.

The timing is set incorrectly. Carburetor(s) needs rebuilding (bad accelerator pump). Firing order is mixed up. Replace or adjust ignition points and condenser.
I believe they should work as I think the 66 and 67 had the same body style. They will not work. If you research the TTI headers (though expensive) it will show you that the headers for the 318/340/360 are rather narrow when used for the 63-66 A-Body, when you look for the 67-72 A-Body you will see they have a much larger outward sweep thus needed much more room within the fender well. I have been beating this to death as I just pulled the 170 /6 out of my 66, and am putting in a 318. Again TTI makes one of the best headers for this vehicle, but they are around 600-700.
