Studebaker was a pioneer company. It produced cars with aerodynamics...not really seen in low priced cars in the US. They also produced the fiberglass Avanti. It never became really popular.... was not very pretty. Stude had to compete with Ford and General Motors. Ford is also a pioneer company. It introduced mass production so it sold cars cheaper. It also survived the big depression. Henry ordered his car parts in wooden crates made to his exact dimensions. He used the wood for his floorboards.
