the fan kicks on 212 deg. it should run about 195 to 200 if it getting hotter than this you may need to change the thermostat and the you can put ome or go with something diff.
The 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE has a normal operating temperature due to the engine. This is usually around 230 degrees.
Approx. 210
200-215
Like 210 F
Normal temp ranges are from 180 to 192 degrees F. Low temps can indicate an open thermostat, high temps can ruin an engine.
I not sure what the normal temp is but I had a 94 grand am and it ran around 160 most of the time.
195 degrees I believe, but you can check your owners manual or one on Pontiac's website. The normal operating temperature with a stock thermostat is one line past the 1/4 mark. If you idle in traffic for long periods it can creep up a couple of lines but will/should come back down when you start moving. Hope this helps. "G"
The temperature gauge on a Pontiac Grand Prix should typically be set within the normal operating range, which is usually between the 1/4 and 3/4 marks on the gauge. Ideally, the needle should rest around the midpoint when the engine is at operating temperature. If the gauge is consistently reading above or below this range, it may indicate a potential issue with the cooling system or the thermostat. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific guidelines related to your model year.
185-210 depending on the thermostat you're using.
Because it is a Pontiac. Sorry, man.
200-220
195 degrees
