In what, with how many miles on it and why? If you have more than 60,000 miles on it , I wouldn't. This is a personal, not professional answer, but synthetics are very high in detegent from what I understand. As a engine gets older it gets kind of happy having some sludgy build up which helps keep it from having oil going past the rings and bearings. When you remove that due to lots of detergents, you can cause problems and oil useage. Example, at the time, 1986 Ford with a 300 6 cyl, used NO oil with 350,000 miles on it, swithed to mobile 1, using NO oil between oil changes of 5000, put in Mobile 1, and within 2 weeks was using a quart of oil every 2 weeks, did not stop when I switched back to convensional oil. BEWARE!

Why is Half and Half not referred to as organic?

A lack of organic-certified cream and of organic-certified pasture-raised milk and the presence of antibiotics, genetic modification, synthetic hormones and toxic pesticides explain when Half & Half is not referred to as organic. Organic certification in the United States results from documenting and following guidelines and from passing regular inspections. Adherence to proper procedure and incorporation of proper local, non-chemical, non-genetically modified, non-synthetic, on-site inputs and resources will allow the Half & Half in question to be labeled USDA organic in the United States.

Can you use synthetic oil in a new engine?

For the first 1600 km's or 1000 miles on a new engine just use regular oil. The reason being is that you want MORE friction in the engine to help the parts wear properly for a good "break in", synthetic oil has such good lubrication properties that it can interfere with proper engine break in.
