3/8 inch Allen, a socket Allen works the best
The Allen wrench size for the front caliper slide pin bolts is 3/8".

You need a 3/8" Allen wrench to remove them.
The last one of those I worked on was 3/8 Allen key
the caliper bolts require a 3/8" Allen wrench. You can buy these as a socket at just about any parts store.
Why do caliper bolts back out on a Chevy K5 Blazer 4*4?
It should be a 3/8" Allen wrench.
Remove the caliper retaining bolts from the inside of the caliper. Lift the caliper off the mounting bracket and over the rotor. Slide the old inner and outer brake pads out of the caliper, and slide the new brake pads into the caliper.
To remove the front brake caliper on a 1998 Chevy Silverado, you will typically need a T55 Torx bit. This size is used for the caliper mounting bolts. Always ensure you have the correct tools and verify the size, as variations may exist depending on specific models or aftermarket parts.
I believe that needs a 3/8 Allen or some models, 7mm Allen.
