The spark plug gap is .44 for a 2001 windstar LX. I just found out today and in the midst of finding out how to get to the back three plugs. Getting the first aid kit ready because it looks like it's gonna be a knucklebuster!

Actually the spark plug gap is .054, 0.044 is for the 3.0 which they stopped using in 98 I believe.
it all depends on what type of spark plug you'll get, it could start from .044 to .054 and another way to figure out is by asking one of the parts counter employee of any auto parts and they should be able to tell you...
