A squealing noise during acceleration is often caused by a worn serpentine belt. This is the belt that runs the alternator, water pump, steering pump, AC compressor, and so on. Some vehicles have more than one belt. You can check the underside of the belt to see if it is badly cracked (more than a few cracks per inch). If so, it should be replaced before it breaks and leaves you stranded.
The squeal can also be caused by any of the devices run by this belt, including the belt tensioner itself.
It is best to have it checked by a qualified person since it is always a sign of something worn and ready to fail, usually resulting in a towing bill or possible engine damage in addition to the repair.
A Geo Metro is a front wheel drive vehicle. When a squealing noise occurs when the wheel is turning, it can be an indication of damage to the CV joints.
Timing Belt.... Check all your belts.
Look to the alt. belt. It may squeal under load.
A 1995 Geo Prism may experience squealing if the power steering pump is failing or the serpentine belt is loose. Tightening the belt and applying a belt conditioner are the first step to addressing this problem.
Yes.

Very carefully!
You can't. They have a distributor pack, and not a cap and rotor. a 1.6 eng 93 geo storm has a distributor cap and rotor!!!
Answer: The ignition timing on a 1990 Geo Storm is 10 degrees BTDC. This applies to both the SOHC and DOHC 1.6L engines.
