The 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme came with the Rocket 350 engine, which is part of Oldsmobile's Rocket engine family. The term "Rocket 350" refers specifically to the 350 cubic inch V8 engine that was designed for performance. It's important to note that both names refer to the same engine, but "Rocket 350" is the correct nomenclature.
No, 350 headers will not fit directly on an Oldsmobile 403 engine. While both engines are part of the GM family, the Oldsmobile 403 has different exhaust port configurations and dimensions compared to the Chevrolet 350. To use 350 headers, you would need specific adapter plates or custom modifications to ensure a proper fit.
If the 1969 Cutlass supreme isn't a muscle car, I dont know what is! Starting with the body style; It has that classic mean type "A" body style. The 350 rocket 4bbl was made with 325-340 horsepower STOCK! With just a little tweeking you could get up in that 350-375 horsepower range. Its a beautiful car and the 350 rocket was made for torque. Where as the 350 chevy was made for rpm and solid horsepower. Its just a matter of your personal preference.
id take the rocket my self it has a little more power than the Chevy 350
yes you can. you must get headers for the exact application though.
