use trac off button to rock the care out of snow, ice or mud -- if you dont use TRAC OFF the ABS system will detect 1 whell spinning faster than the other and automatically the brakes to the faster spinning wheel - the car things your fishtailing/ hydroplaning -- turn it off and the car auto ABS system wont detect the faster spinning wheel
