The OEM speakers in a Chevy Trailblazer typically have a power rating of around 15 to 25 watts RMS per speaker, depending on the specific model year and audio system configuration. The total output can vary if the vehicle is equipped with a premium audio system, which may have higher wattage speakers. Always check the vehicle's specifications or consult the owner's manual for precise details.
Speakers are measured in Ohms not Watts. Watts is the amount of power you will be supplying to the speakers. In my 2009 Corolla the speakers can handle at least 400 Watts as this is what my OEM JBL system is pushing.
I would only use the OEM plugs. In the case of a Chevy that would be AC Delco. Some will tel you that any plug will work as long as it made for your vehicle. I have learned that's not always true. I put a different them OEM plugs in my 97 Eclipse and they burned up in a week. Then I replaced them with the OEM NGK plugs and never had a problem. Ever since I just stick with what the manufacture puts in it.
