i had the same problem with mine especially when it was cold and the metal would shrink. the jam switch isn't fully pushed in so it sets off the alarm. on the door directly where the jam switch lands there is an indention in the metal. i purchase some plastic disks that have adhesive on the back(meant to protect walls from door knobs) from Walmart and put 2 of them (one right on top of each other) over the indention and havent had a problem since. be sure to clean the area with alcohol thoroughly before sticking them on. this will push the jam switch in enough.
