Broken or disconnected wiper transmission (linkage)?
In my opinion, Silblade makes very good windshield wipers. They seem to last longer than most other brands of windshield wipers, based on my experience. I've used this brand in all the cars I own when it comes time to replace the wipers. They are actually very durable and last a while. Another alternative is the Trico NeoForm Beam Blade. Absolutely love them. See sources and related links below.
michelin makes excellent wipers, I highly recommend them. Everyone's going to give a different answer, and here's my different answer: 'Trico Tech Beam Blades' work really well for me.
Many vehicles have a "mist" feature that makes the wipers swipe one time upon startup to remove mist or fog. This normally can be turned off...check manual.
Yes you can. Here is a link to a company that makes the items you wil need. Or you can do a search for Amequipment http://www.amequipment.com/03_com_ind_pantograph.html
You need to research and get your terminology correct. What you are asking does not exist. Windshield wipers do not have any lights associated with them. Come back with another question that makes sense. We will try and help.
A hog sometimes makes a snorting sound, and sometimes makes a squealing sound.
If the pump under the hood buzzes and makes noise when you press the washer switch then the sprayers at the windshield are plugged, replace sprayers. More likely you will find the pump makes no noise and is bad. Could be out of fluid.
well my friend, your windshield wipers work off of an electric motor powered by your battery which is charged by the alternator, hope this makes sense to you, if wipers arent working it may be a fuse or the electric motor. if your alternator belt is not on or your alternator isn't working your battery will bo dead pretty quick and your car wont start at all. hope i helped sharris@maplenet.net if you have any car questions
The 2001 BMW 325i takes a 23" drivers side and a 20" passenger side but they are fairly specialized wipers so you can't just get any aftermarket wiper. I recommend going to the dealer OR possibly looking at Valeo wipers since I believe they are one of the few that makes wipers that will fit. Be sure to lookup the make, model and year of the vehicle no matter what wipers you're looking at.
This answer is from my own past experiences. It is not guaranteed, but it has helped me and friends in the past. I have found that the wipers are sometimes incorrectly adjusted, somtimes due to years of use/adjustment slippage. The wiper motor drives the wipers with a drive arm. The actual wipers themselves are attached to this drive arm with a screw. If the wipers are hitting the park-stops on every wipe, the adjustment screw needs adjusted. Basically, turn the wipers off. Here is where it gets a bit tricky. The bottom part of the windshield, where the wipers recede, there may be a screw to open an access plate (probably plastic) where you can lower a nut driver (same as a screw driver, but with a socket end on it) and loosen the bolt below. God, this is hard to explain on a simple internet text message. Now, with the wipers off, and the screw loosened, manually move the wipers to their normally parked position, probably a very slight move. Now, lock that screw/bolt down. Tighten it and try the wipers once again. If the problem is still present, then the main bolt on the wiper motor itself needs loosened, repositioned, and tightened.
Soft noises are when like you whisper or do something that barley makes any noise ya know.Ex: When a baby is sleeping, you would want to whisper and not make ANY noises or the baby will cry.
Answer:Since the windshield wipers are hydraulic and run by the power steering system you would have to bypass the feed. This will most likely require a trip to you local hose man. with the hoses in hand and hopefully some pictures anyone that makes hydraulic hoses should be able to change the ends or preferably make a new line. I am about to do the same thing on my 1967 2dr hardtop but i plan on relocating cooler to in front of the radiator, so not sure if my project would help
