maybe the thermostat
You might have air stuck in the system causing the rad fluid to not flow properly, remove one of the heater core hoses from the heater core once the engine has gotten hot. The pressure will help help flush it. Put it back on and check the overflow tank after you start the engine again..
Bad waterpump, stuck thermostat, bad electric fan, or a plugged radiator.
I just replaced the thermostat and gave the coolant system a flush and replaced the prestone. Seems to have done the job.
with out knowing where it leaks from it's a hard question. the only thing i could think of is heater core
2001 Pontiac Montana?
Can be leaking from a hose not secured properly or a hole in the system.
will a radiator from pontiac fit a chevy s 10
It is worn and needs to be replaced. It is collapsing when the water pump draws coolant.
you must be a wierdo.stupid.
In order to drain the radiator on a 2004 Pontiac GTO it is necessary to pull the lower radiator hose off. There is not a separate drain plug on this radiator.
Look at the bottom or rear of radiator
on the radiator
Before changing the radiator on a 2001 Pontiac Montana the coolant must first be drained. After the drain remove the radiator mounts, fans, and hoses. Pull the radiator upwards.
