when you whistle you force air threw a whole. so when you give your car the gas to accelerate your engine you increase the air going into the engine and air going out. So with the hood up and the car running have someone give it the gas to find out where the whistle is coming from. I think it will be a leak in the intake. when you find the location of the sound put your hand over it " IF IT'S SAFE TO DO SO" and hear if it works and feel for air. If you don't what to do that, go to a good auto shop, ask if they could have a listen for you. If they ask you to leave it with them or have you pull it inside then they start thinking of charging you for stuff. A good mechanic should just come out to the lot with you listen to it tell you it's the air intake seal (or whatever) and tell you how much he will charge . The end
