I had an additive put in my Lincoln ls. I bought the adapter needed to add freon. It was located on driver side in front of tire.
To add refrigerant (commonly referred to as Freon) to a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer, locate the low-pressure service port, which is typically found on the larger diameter aluminum line between the compressor and the evaporator. Remove the cap from the port, then attach the refrigerant can with a hose to the port. Follow the instructions on the refrigerant can for proper filling procedures, ensuring the engine is running and the AC is set to the maximum cool setting. Always check for leaks and ensure you're using the correct type of refrigerant for your vehicle.
on the low side pessure port of the compressor line
You add Freon on the low side with the motor running. The low side connection port for freon is much smaller in size compaired to the high side, so you can't put it in on the high side. If you are a novis at this, I suggest you buy the charge kit with a gage so you don't over fill the system,(if you over fill it it won't work properly)
Freon is added in the low pressure port of the ac system. It is on an aluminum pipe on the passengers side, close to the ac drier.
