In 1994-1996 B-Bodies (Impala SS,Caprice,Road Master,Fleetwood, & Oldsmobile Cruisers) came with the 4L60E 4speed Automatic.
14 or 15 MPG on the highway and less in town.
Mine gets about 52.
The 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS is powered by Chevrolet's 5.7L LT1. It was basically the same as the LT4 found in earlier Corvettes but the pistons are Iron, and it is camed for more torque at lower rpm.
My 2003 vegas gets round 50
castrol 10 w 40 high mileage
My 1972 SS with a 350 gets about 16/17 mpg
The 2005 Nissan Altima gets around only 16-17 mpg in city. For the highway, the car gets around 24 mpg, a hybrid car will result in better gas mileage.
It depends on what kind of mileage your car gets and how many miles you drive.
it gets around 16 to 18 .....downhill with a tailwind.
Gets decent gas mileage, 18-24mpg. Plus the stock motor has some amazing power and a top speed 140mphish.
