On a 2007 Pontiac Solstice, the oil filter is located on the underside of the engine, near the oil pan. It can be accessed from beneath the vehicle, typically on the driver's side. Make sure to use caution and possibly lift the car with jack stands for better access when changing the oil filter.
I use 10W-30
Loook in your owners manual, I use syntheric blend 20w50
Use SAE 5w30 Full Synthetic.
Look on top of the engine right by the firewall. If you stand on the left side and touch the oil filler cap, the filter is to the right and down. Use a flashlight to see the cap on top of the filter.

Use exactly the weight oil as listed in your owner's manual. The brand is your choice an any major brand will be good.
Any major brand 5w20 oil. The filter is just as important as the oil. Use a name brand filter such as AC/Delco, Purolator, & Wix. Click the link to my blog where I discuss changing your oil.
