There is no 2004 Aurora. The last model made was 2002.
Here is a link with info on the Oldsmobile Aurora 2001-2003 http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/2001-to-2003-oldsmobile-aurora.htm
Anywhere from $31000-$35000

Probably every 50K should be sufficient
The 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora is designed to run on premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. Using premium fuel helps optimize the vehicle's performance and fuel efficiency. It's advisable to avoid regular unleaded gasoline to prevent potential engine knocking and ensure the best driving experience.
A crossed ignition wire and a power window wire could cause this problem. Check the wiring below the dashboard. You should be able to find the bared wires.
On a 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora with a 4.0 engine, cylinder number 3 is located on the passenger side of the engine, towards the front. The engine configuration is a V8, and the cylinders are numbered from the front to the back, with odd numbers on the driver's side and even numbers on the passenger side. Therefore, cylinder 3 is the third cylinder back on the passenger side.
I have 2002 Aurora with the same problem.
how do you fix security switch on a 2002 oldsmobile alero
It is inside the car above the passengers feet. You must remove the lower cover plate and glovebox to be able to see it. It is somewhat difficult to replace.
