I have a 2004 Aveo with 190,000 miles. I use a name brand synthetic blend 5W30.
Using 10W-30 motor oil in a 2007 Chevy Aveo is generally acceptable, especially if the vehicle is operated in warmer climates. However, the manufacturer's recommended oil is typically 5W-30, which provides better performance in cold starts and optimal engine protection. If you choose to use 10W-30, ensure that it meets the required specifications for your engine and monitor for any changes in performance or fuel efficiency.
