your lights won't shut off because more than likely the multifunction switch is bad in the car. This is a very expensive part, usually 400-600 dollars. did you hear a constant clicking coming form the right hand side of the dash? It will run your battery down if not fixed, of course you probably realize this. Good luck!! Just to clarify. It maybe obvious, but we aren't talking about the Daytime Runnings lights that GM has been using since '95 are we? With the DRL system your headlights are on any time your ignition is on and your parking break is disengaged.
