Any and all. The computer uses the input from the O2 sensors to determine whether or not the engine is running too rich or too lean.
Have the truck diagnosed by an Autozone parts store for free. Their computer should be able to tell you which senor, if any, is malfunctioning.
If someone could please explain who to get to the oxygen sensor and explain where it is for sure?
On my 1989 f250 the oxygen sensor is in the exhaust header pipe a few inches in front of the catalytic convertor
Which oxygen sensor? There are two of them. They each have 4 wires and each wire has two colors. There were two models of the f250 also, need to know engine size. Sorry.
Diesels do not use oxygen sensors
On the exhaust pipe between the engine and the catalytic converter
bad
Where is cylinder temp sensor on 2000 Ford f250 with v10 engine
The O2 sensor on a 1988 F250 is not near the engine. Go to the exhaust manifold and down the length. It is near the catalytic converter.
