My turbo 350 trans in my 1996 Chevy shifts into reverse very hard is this the result of a defective modulater valve Can you remove it without oil leaking out of the trans. Cost?
A 1996 Chevy should not have a a turbo hydramatic 350 unless it has been changed. it should not shift into reverse hard unless the idle is too high, or there is some other problem,such as a tired differential,or bad u-joint.
