There are actually (4) O2 sensors, 2 on each side of the car. If you plan on modding your exhaust, be sure to buy a BBK O2 Sensor Extension Kit. You can find them on AmericanMuscle.com. You should only need to buy 1 kit (set of 2 at about $35). The 2 foremost sensors need to reach up into the engine bay and the stock sensors won't reach with most modded exhausts.
If you just want to find a possible faulty sensor that's making your Check Engine Light stay on, you'll have to pull all four and check for discoloration. An individual sensor runs about $35 as well to replace but it's an easy DOI fix. It's pretty much plug and play, just remember to remove the neg. terminal of your battery before you start (and replace it when you finish). This will reset your chip and you'll know if you were successful or not by that feisty Check Engine Light's appearance or, hopefully, demise.
