To change the wiper blades on a 2004-2009 Jaguar XJ8, first lift the wiper arm away from the windshield. Press the release tab on the wiper blade connector and slide the old blade off the arm. Align the new wiper blade with the arm, push it onto the connector until it clicks into place, and then gently lower the wiper arm back onto the windshield. To replace the windshield wiper arm spring on a 2004 Saturn, first lift the wiper arm away from the windshield to access the spring mechanism.
