If it starts back up after a few minutes, I would look at fuel supply. Start by replacing the fuel filter. You may end up haveing to replace the fuel pump. It is probably overheating and shutting down, and will eventually fail. Good Luck.

That could be the cam shaft position sensor.Check that out>
Could be a plugged up fuel filter.
i think that the 1997 dodge grand caravan 3.3 cyts off while driving due to faulty oxygen sensor locates on the manifold before the catalityc converter in upstream if downstream it is located after the catalityc converter if this doesn work for you try also checking fuel pump pressure and filter also may require coils to be replaced
