If keys are lost to a vehicle call someone to bring a spare if possible. If not then call a locksmith to have them replaced.
When my father in law lost his master key for his vehicle (his vehicle came with 2 keys, and it has a chip in it so he couldn't make duplicates) He had to go to the dealership and pay like 250.00 for a new one.

Insert your key into your door then turn and hold it for about 5 seconds. That should do it!
Had the same problem. You can reset it by unlocking either door with the key.
