R134 or 134R its the same obviously. That's the only freon I know of besides the old stuff you cant get anymore.
On a 1993 Ford Taurus GL : That would be the 3.0 litre " Vulcan " V6 or the optional 3.8 litre V6

R-134a Can be found in any auto parts store / Wal-mart, etc
The Freon is added through the low side ac port. Using the proper type of Freon and a gauge, fill the system to the recommended pressure.

The refrigerant you need is R-12 (the older very expensive) type. Most domestic cars through 1994-1995 use this type.
