The oil pressure for a 1994 Pontiac Firebird equipped with a 5.7L LT1 engine typically ranges from 40 to 60 psi at normal operating temperature. At idle, it may drop to around 10-15 psi, which is acceptable for this engine type. It's important to monitor the oil pressure gauge regularly to ensure it remains within this range for optimal engine performance and longevity. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific recommendations.
